If you dont like whats happening to Silsden - Leave
So i have and very happy where i am, There are actually places to live far better than Silsden if the blinkers are removed, In fact out of West Yorks all together
So have fun people |

I know no better place than Silsden. Im delighted and happy to visit and spend a few weeks each year in Gloucester ave in my old home town where I was born. compared to Grimsby and norh east Lincolnshire where I live now its Paradise. |

There are a lot of returners to Silsden, so there must be something good about it. |

Grass always looks greener the other side of the fence. Terrible disappointment to find it is not any different. That's life |

I've only lived in Silsden for about a year and a half and I think its a wonderful place. No where else in the world have I found people to be so friendly and caring (obviously with one or two exceptions ) And before you ask, yes, I have lived and worked in more various countries! Our neighbours have shown us nothing but kindness, Hothfields is a brilliant school - my daughter has progressed out of there now - and I have never found the people in the shops, from the Post Office to the Co-Op to the library, to be anything other than friendly. Give yourself a big pat on the back, Silsden. Even though I am an "outsider", I'm proud to say I live here now.... |
