Silsden Environmental Action Team in partnership with Silsden Youth Council Beck clean up and start of the Beck project Meet by the Weir near the Post Office Saturday 18th May 9:30am All welcome Please wear wellies or strong footwear Gardening gloves would also be a good idea |

Hopefully good weather in the morning look forward to seeing new and old faces all welcome come and get involved in a worthwhile community project that will brighten up the town |

this post has been edited 7 time(s) A good turnout this morning about 10 people getting involved with the beck cleanup and the start of the floodgate/regeneration project Watch this space for further updates in the weeks to come Unfortunately not all volunteers were available for a group picture but i managed to get a pic of some of the helpers 10 black bin liners were filled with rubbish from the beck |

nope i dont think he turned up he could have been for a few moments while my back was turned and i was digging but if so i didnt see him cllr Naylor was there for a few hours |
