Well Silsden will see stage 3 of the new Tour De Yorkshire Heading from Oakworth, over Laycock down into Sutton & then up Priest Bank to head down into Silsden down Skipton Road. turning left out of Bell Square and up Bolton Road to Dingham letour.yorkshire.com/stage-3/map |

I thought this tour was supposed to visit places that had not been disrupted by the last lot! I hope the canal bridge gets stuck in the open position. I do not want any more of these darned road lice infesting our Town. |

^^^ Didn't we all just know it wouldn't be long ^^^ I don't think anyone can deny the carnival atmosphere experienced last year when Le Tour came to town. For those that made the effort, they did Silsden proud. lets hope the same can be achieved this year. 100 days to go !!!! |

ROAD LICE...that's a new one!!! Anyone who went into town when the tour went through would I am sure not share the above statement. What a fantastic atmosphere in town that day, everyone so happy and smiley, although perhaps the previous poster could not be accused of enjoying such a wonderful event. Sad, what a miserable way to go through life. Smile and the world smiles with you, cry and you cry alone comes to mind. One day out of 365 isn't too much to ask surely. |
