when I was in silsden today, there were 3 yes 3 parking enforcement officers standing by pauls diy,they looked very smart in their brand new uniforms.I told them that someone had just parked on a double yellow despite there being a legitimate space less than 5 yards away, their response was that they cannot do anything about that they are just looking at car parks!! Does anyone know why it takes 3 men to do this, maybe they were being trained? I would be interested to know |

looking at car parks maybe the latest anorak craze or maybe one man for each corner of the top car park, unless one to look, one to keep watch and one to write down the findings  |

if they had started by the brideg pub and gone up eliot street down aireview when the schools have just finished for the day and then up skipton road for double parking plenty of tickets for one day and we have not started on the taxis yet |

apparantly bradford council are recruiting traffic enforcement officers and I think these must have been out on training.They have no powers to ticket people on yellow lines yet |

the latest info I have is that Bradford take over parking enforcement of yellow lines at the end of January. |
