And so, despite 13 years of the same government, the worst recession for 50 years and a right wing press laying into Brown for over 2 years, the tories still failed to win a majority. poor rupert murdoch, poor david cameron, poor magaret thatcher, poor tax dodger Ashcroft.
As for Hopkins getting in here: I look forward to saying 'I told you so' as he begins his demolition of silsden. starting with the bypass.

As long as you are happy ted, that's all that counts. But...be afraid...we are not going to like what is about to hit us, already the pound is down, stock markets are down, and there's more to come. Worst possible outcome, in my opinion, horse trading to come, everyone suffers. We should have only 2 parties, like USA and Australia, they make it work. |

Im amazed that our Prime Minister Mr Brown who promised a referendum on the Euro treaty, promised no more boom and bust and British jobs for British workers did not get voted back into No10. Not that he was voted into No10 before. Quiz question for the future...Who was the prime minister of Britain despite not being voted into office? |

Here's hoping that a Conservative/Lib Dem coalition does better for the country than they have for Bradford. |

Think you all should consider the following;
The Tories will not form a partnership with Clegg.
Labour have been soundly beaten.
The Tories will form a minority government and run the country as they have the most seats and the largest percentage of the vote.
If you don't like it - tough. |

No Prime Minister has ever been elected into office by the electorate of the UK. Most PMs have been elected as MPs to parliament.
The Prime Minister is the individual who has the support of parliament to form a government. They do not have to be an elected MP, the PM can come from the Lords.
Gordon Brown remains PM until it is obvious another has the support of parliament. So far it is not obvious whom that might be. |

I have it on good authority from a friend of mine that Hopkins will inject large amounts of money into Silsden, starting with a huge donation to the Sports Club to help Silsden AFC!
Ooh bloody hell was that a pig I just saw flying past my bedroom window? |
