This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

I don't know if it is this PC that is not showing the actual results or not, but the link shows zero votes for any candidate?

That could be because the results are not in yet, I presume the details will be filled in when received.

Congratulations to Andrew Mallinson and Chris Atkinson and I hope they can work together with Adrian Naylor and the local Town/Parish Councils for the good of the people of Addingham,Eastburn, Silsden and Steeton.

Well done Chris, what a shame we couldn't have had both the independent candidates working for us instead of just you!
Hopefully now Silsden will get more from the black hole that is Bradford.
Why when the money for our puffin crossing has already been approved did Mallinson say that they are waiting for Tesco's to pay for it?

Turn out was around 300 up than the last time the sitting candidate(Mallinson) stood when only three candidates stood for one seat. The Conservative candidate(Mallinson)at that time polled 4,903 votes meaning he has lost over 3,000 supporters, almost 75%.Labour had 2,295 votes but this time their top candidate polled 1,093 with Lib Dems best 179 was down from 1,831.

Had their been just 2 independents standing it can be assumed there would have been 2 winners.

Perhaps he feels responsible for the Town Hall overspend and is trying to save the council some money

And just how many more people will have to be killed and injured before Bradford sort out the crossing?
Do Not rely on them getting anybody to pay for the crossing, Bradford could not even get the paperwork right when the co-op agreed to pay for the roads being improved on the whole of their boundary, Bradford said they had forgotten to get the co-op to sign the forms!

Peter would it be possible for you to post a special posting about Bradford just as you have done about Skippy and Greengrass. Then the all the anti Bradford people will have there own place to moan, and not bother the rest of us.
