Time to do a check on your home security. There have been 3 car thefts on Jennings close in the last week or so. The MO seems the same on each, break into patio door or similar find the car keys and take any decent stuff thats left around. On each of the thefts the people were in the house at the time. After a bit of investigation on the net it seems that a standard patio door lock takes around 20 seconds to get through and the advice is to fit "sash Jammers" for some extra security. Please be aware of anyone snooping around houses etc as these guys must be doing the homework before they do the crime. |
