On Wednesday 19th February (weather permitting) Silsden Youth Council will be litter picking in the lanes of Silsden. We will be meeting at the bottom of Bradley Road at 10 am,we will walk to the top of Horne Lane and work our way down picking up all the rubbish left in the ditches/hedges ect. Anyone wishing to join us or just come along at the meet to show your support please feel free to do so. |

Hi could you have a go at the garden rear of CO-OP & SUNNY BANK CLUB its a right dump full of bottles tin cans food wrappers fag ends and not forgetting the good old DOG POW !. Must be one of worst eye sore in Silsden. |

We are doing the lanes mentioned previously,maybe get there one day or maybe another group could start there. Although it must be stated that Youth Council will not, in any litter picking,be removing dog poo. |

Well that's that job done......two and half hours,8 bags of litter,bottles and cans. Thank you to all who came out to support us,Bradley Butchers,Barber Shop,Pauls DIY,The Kings Arms and Silsden Skips. Huge thank you to the lady in the 4 wheel drive who stopped to ask what we were doing and gave a £20 donation!!!! And well done Silsden Youth Council!! |
