hi peeps dont forget silsden christmas lights need putting up again if im right in saying we are putting them up on the weekend 17/18 november all help is much appretiated no skills needed just general helpers please come and help...im sure grandad will confirm times and dates but im fairly sure these dates are correct..thanks in advance.. |

Yes it’s nearly that time of year again, we are indeed putting up this year’s Christmas lights on the weekend 17/18 November, all and any help will be gratefully received, we don’t ask anybody to do anything they are not happy with, for everyone up a ladder we need at least two or three on the ground. This year we have ordered a new feature and two new strings of lights so there will be even more work to complete in the time available. So please do come and be part of this happy group of volunteers, the more the merrier and the Townsfolk do really appreciate the end result! |

We will aim to be getting to the Town hall about 8AM so we can park the cherrypicker at the beck before the cars get there and block it up, Anytime after then just come into the Kirkgate area and look for a happy bunch of people playing up ladders and along the road, don’t be shy just introduce yourself and we will soon find you a job that you are happy to do, there are vacancies in every dept. |
