Topic : Grouse to be turned into houses |

Live near the Grouse Inn just had a planning application letter, application to turn the Grouse into 2 houses and to build a further 5 houses in the car park behind the grouse. |

the grouse are denying this they say its just for in the car park but it clearly says public house here |

presume the people in the grouse are just tennants anyway? so would it be the owners who are wanting to develop it? |

The applicants are Mr & Mrs C Pietrovic a common surname in Keighley even someone showing on Craven Ave wth that surname. |

the applicant is c pietrovito of howden road silsden.Interestingly that name has cropped up before on a housing application elsewhere in silsden, I think they must be an agent acting for someone else |

I guess it's up to Silsden people if they want to keep the restaurant open. For now it is remaining open. It will only close if business doesn't pick up. The same old saying "use it or lose it. " |

The person who owns the Grouse is c pietrovito who used to run the Grouse when it was an Italian restaurant. He also owns the building where the Bridal shop is. |
