Have just arrived home from my morning walk and feel like having a moan !!!!
I walked along Kirkgate, remembering yesterdays wonderful event, and seeing Town blanketed in snow, such a lovely sight, imagine the horror when I reached the Florists, some bright spark had used their doorway as an impromptu picnic spot. Poly boxes, chips, paper, plastic forks, curry containers.strewn around. To had insult, there is a bin of considerable size a few yards along outside Martins!!!!!
What kind of people do these things.????
Maybe time to put a levy on the sellers of these poly box takeaways. Or better still, give them a job to clean their mess up.
One very irate grumpy old B.
Sorry to moan, but it really infuriates me...IDLENESS.

Sorry to say, I left it. Looked in to Martins to see if he had a brush and shovel, he wasn't there. There was so much of it, I'm SORRY to say I left it as the street cleaning man was there. Walked home feeling awfully guilty.

i know thats what they get paid to do,cleaning the streets,it was obviously somebody coming home from the pub last night who thought it would be clever just to dump their litter then probably laugh there head of as they went past the bin that is provided to put rubbish in

Hi Roosterman, Just an update.
Went back down with bag and rubber gloves, all the rubbish had gone.
To be honest, I really felt awful, almost as if I'd done it. The reason for leaving it, I had both dogs with me, intent on hoovering up the remains, daren't linger too long as they would have had a field day!!!!
