Was anybody disturbed by the idiot riding a quad bike around the waterside area on Saturday night between 8 and 9 pm, no lights no number plate so no tax or insurance also carrying passengers. |

No
But I find the inconsiderate parking on Ings way on bends and next to junctions a nuisance. |

Moz Did you report it to the Police? Phone their none emergency number 084506060606 aand tell them when this idiot is out and about, also where he lives if you know that, they will take it off him; if they can catch him, it is probably uninsured so if he hits anything they won't be able to claim of him. |

I think I heard something racing around but only when I went out to the garage.
@old_miner If approached properly from traffic travelling in both directions the parked cars are not an issue. Only on one occasion have I had to slam on (I was on side without parked cars), a takeaway driver had moved out too early and travelling too fast for the bend so that I was not able be to see him before passing the cars and for him to see oncoming traffic (he still tried to bully through instead of moving into gap between parked cars). I have had the odd Muppet who has insisted two cars can squeeze passed each other at the junction near the shop (again only at weekends). |

The Parking on ings way at the bends is terrible. parking on a blind bend is dangerous. ive seen a few near misses and also even saw 1 driver mount the curb to miss someone in the middle of the road. if one of the many school walkers had been on the pavment at the time there would have been a funeral booking at the church. i dont see why parking right on the bends is necessery when the parts that are straight arnt parked on. |

The parking on bends there is bad, but the problem is speed. If everyone slows down, it can solve it, but Ings Way is like Brands Hatch sometimes. There will be an accident soon, but it will be caused by speed....it isn't a 30 limit for some people. I was going down Howden Road last week past the nursing home at 30 when a car overtook me going about 50, mad as a hatter...caught him up at Waterloo Mill shortly after in the usual queue of traffic! |

even at 20mph on those bends a car coming each way head on its a 40mph impact. i agree alot of people go too fast round there and with the parked cars it will end up in a mess. |

No to speedbumps, they are a menace to all law abiding motorists, they damage vehicles even at slow speeds, how would you like to be in the back of an ambulance with a damaged back bouncing over them, what we need are speed cameras catch and fine the offenders leave the rest of us alone. |
