Went for a meal at Grouse last night, exceptional food and service. Not the same owners as previous. We had steak which was really nice, the chips are excellent. Had a drink at the bar before and after the meal which was relaxed and friendly. Had a chat with the chef and manager after service which was also nice. Please use this restaurant, at least give it a try. Steffanos is nice, this is better, in my opinion. They are doing a BBQ with live music and stuff for the kids on Saturday 31st August, hope to see all there! Hello to the couple we were sat with at the bar last night! Use it or lose it people! |

I have to agree with you the food is excellent. I have been on two occasions in the last couple of weeks, last Friday we had the £10 two course early bird deal. Please give it a try you will be pleasantly surprised. |

Hi Jbrare, was good meeting you both. The lemon sole was fab as always, had it on salmon risotto ( without the prawns) yum. Folks please try this place, the description doesn't do the food justice. Well worth the 5 min walk, It's too nice to lose. See you at Silsdenbury |

It would be good to know who the chef and the manager is, they have still not really promoted themselves, do they have a website or even a phone number yet? are they definiteley not connected to the people who had it prior to it closing last time and if so why all the cloak and dagger stuff? it would be nice to see a full menu and price list and opening times etc. Most other good restaurants have a website |
