I suppose it's a bit like the firm that recently advertised for a "reliable" worker....the Jobcentre would not display the advert for the vacancy because they said that to use the word "reliable" would offend those who are "unreliable". I couldn't believe it when I read it, but it is true! |

The answer for the USA now is NOTHING judging by a video of three security guards who did not help a girl being beaten up! I also bet that in Australia they are all moaning about PC as much as we are. That they are in the US is obvious from many of their current TV shows. In truth if you killed someone attacking your family there would be no prosecution. There will be if you seek them out after the event and beat them up, but not at the time. In fact, if you encounter a burglar it is probably best to kill them in your own home. That way they cannot complain and your actions of reasonable defence will have to be accepted. Just make sure you do it with something to hand that it is not illegal to have. Such cases do happen, but usually only warrant a footnote - if that - in the popular press. |

any one comes in my home and threatens my family they will leave in a box, great to see the chap in the papers who cut of the robbers ear walk free from court but why was he charged in the first place. |
