Just watching tv re Bankers. How can top paid bankers who step down and get millions paid whilst they have made an utter mess. what do you think |

I think that some of them should be facing jail sentences. If Jo Public, went out and mugged someone, they would (if caught) be arrested, sentenced and either fined or jailed. What is the difference between robbing an individual of £10 and the country of several million pounds? |

After many years as a Barclays customer I've finally had enough, got my act together and moved my money this week. If enough of us do this the big bad banks should get the message that their arrogant, greedy and dishonest culture disgusts us. I've picked the Co-operative Bank but there are many other choices. moveyourmoney.org.uk is a helpful website. To any Barclays counter staff who may see this, a big thank you for so much excellent service. I'm sad to say goodbye. Our quarrel is not with you! |

paperclip is right, it's the greedy people at the top who need sorting out...too many ordinary bank workers have paid the price by losing their jobs when it was not their fault. Strange world we live in. And remember the Co-op top brass get paid huge amounts as well, maybe not as much as Bob Diamond, but it is very big.....they are all at it!  |

Poor Bob Diamond, only getting £2 million in salary and pension....I WISH. Fast coming to the conclusion that this country is full of, dare I say it, corrupt top brass. At least they are getting their cumupance now, even if it is with a gilded handshake. |

It is all down to performance related pay. Performance related pay NEVER WORKS. It never works because those involved ALWAYS start working to manipulate the system to ones personal advantage rather than anyone else. |
