He has just moved from Hothfield St to Staincliffe Court. It is really annoying and the buses must really struggle to get round with him parking it just above the bus stop. |

With it taking up two car parking spaces, it used to stop two cars dropping local school kids off at Hothfield Street. |

If the Camper van was parked outside its own home up Hothfield, pity that it stopped local children being dropped off at school!!! As for where it is parked now, moving it up the side streets isn't the answer, that would probably mean that it would be parked outside some poor house holders property. I for one wouldn't appreciate that. Don't know what the answer to this one is, it's a nuisance wherever it parks. |

i know which camper van your talking about because i have had a few incidents driving past it all week, with cars turning fast down onto Elliot off Dradishaw fast not expecting to see the road blocked as i am passing the camper.
The owner is negligent for parking it causing an obstruction BUT also for parking it so close to a bus stop !!! its dangerous.
In regards to where to park it.... how about using a little common sense, its a start. |

A friend tells me of another incident of inconsiderate parking. A navy blue transit type van parks in Bolton Road just before the bus stop before the ex tannery as you go up hill. Often opposite a solid white line. People have to flag the bus down, sometimes depending on exactly where this person parks the bus driver cannot see waiting passengers. Also he cannot pull up at the actual bus stop so at the last minute people have to 'run' to where the Bus can dra in ofter nearer the Tannery corner. So here is yet another example of inconsiderate parking. |

Passed the aforesaid C/Van this morning, didn't envy anyone using the road. On the opposite side was a gardening truck parked outside their neighbours home. directley opposite the C/Van. How on earth people were safely getting through left much to the imagination with the road conditions hazardous. Hope a solution is immanent.Unfortunately, the majority of Silsdens housing was built at a time when cars weren't the priority they now are, it's bound to cause problems of some sort. So many cars are parked on footpaths with little or no effort of the owners making provision to park with consideration. On our road there are drives which could easily park 5 cars, but no, they are still parked on the pathways. |

hell im glad its not my camper slow down and it wont be a problem. if some one was to go in to staincliffe and enquire maybe the owner would move it higher up. so if its causing you a problem do something dont just moan on here as the owner probobaly doesnt look on here |

Well said Chris'. Someone showing some initiative. Surely, if it is troubling bus drivers they only need to mention the obstacle to the transport managers to sort it out. |

phone 101 and mention to police or call local policing team they can have a polite friendly chat about the issue as said on here the person might not know they are causing such a problem |

Nothing to do with the campervan or anything else parked! the drivers who can't drive are the cause! drive at a speed which you can stop in the distance you can see to be clear. |

See the pictures attached to the Silsden Health Centre thread. Too many vehicles parking without due consideration. Too many houses built without adequate parking facilities and more importantly, too many drivers who don't read the road ahead of them! |

I find that people who use the words "get a life" to end an argument are invariably pig-ignorant and selfish |

I point to be considered here is; be thankful that you have only these small things to complain about, if you lived in a city or even Keighley they wouldn't even be on your radar for all the other real problems about you. We live in a great place, a little more live and let live would go a long way! |
