Yes, I know that anybody with half a brain locks their car ..... Having said that, I didn't last night and a neighbour found my bag which I had left inside the car (Must be missing two halves of a brain!). It was down the road abandoned and my purse had been taken. Just as a heads up to everybody - an opportunist thief did this. Good job other people are sensible. |

Not just cars! Sheds,garages,homes,bikes,garden furnature especially if they are made of metal,lock everything tight with a good lock. |

a silmilar thing has happened near us on the same night, waterside area, is this the same part of silsden as you ealteacher? |

this happened on craven avenue. I knew the police wouldn't be able to do anything - how could they? But I did report it because it might fit into a pattern which could help them. So the information about other incidents would also help. |

I have had a break in at my stables at Lippersley lane. Targeted for the generator. It was chained down but they still managed to get it. If anyones offered one please let me lknow. It is brand new, red and black police are aware. |

Someone had been in our car parked on drive in waterside area on monday night. They had a root round and had left glove box etc open and passenger door open but we fortunately hadn't left anything to take. |

I noticed when I went into silsden today that in a few places there was broken glass form cars,I think someone must have been out breaking into cars again last night.where are the police? I honestly have not seen any for months.Also the police do not give local info anymore about each individual area and what has been happening, pcso's used to write about what they were doing, maybe they have not been doing anything so nothing to write about!! the online form to report non urgent crimes does not work either |

police crime info is given at council meetings once a month i believe |

if you look on west yorkshire police site you can see all recent crimes , camera alerts, court files, also you can report crime as well. |
