this post has been edited 2 time(s) At around six ten tonight my wife was walking past the Bowling green and saw a youth riding a bike on it.She politely told him of the damage he was doing and he stopped riding on the green.Then when she came past ten minutes later another youth was doing the same,and she told him not to ride a bike in the green.The boys were about twelve years old and had south craven jumpers on,and when they left the area they walked up Fletcher ave. |

It wouldn't have happened when Mr Graveling was the resident park keeper. A nice chap, never saw him lose his temper with anybody. "Gravy-guts" was our nickname for him! |
