On the short road between South view Terrace (by the phone box) and Elliott Street (by the sheltered houses) today i counted 7 piles of the stuff .Not being an authority on sh*te it was apparent and obvious by the texture that all this stuff was out of the same dog My self and neighbours are keeping a look out for the owner of this sh*t machine and if spotted will be reported |

Bob T, I have the same problem with some a**e and his dog on our street!
I put a poster up because it kept cr**ing at the end of my drive and it still does it!
I suspect it's a numpty with a labrador/golden retriever, and when I catch him he'll be eating it! That's after I staple a poster to his head!
Still got posters left, e-mail me for one alan@silsden.net |

There have been numerous surprise 'parcals ' on the verges and footpaths near us, hidden by snow until yesterday mostly from the same large dog, hate going into details but same consistency, colour amount etc., this dog owner must stroll along or hang about until the dog does something then the dogs excercise is over and is returned home. |

If either me or my son catches the dirty b*****d who lets his dog c**p on our road he won't need a bag! |

Don't think it's the costs of the bags pumba, it's 'cos the owners are selfish p***ts with no respect for others or the town! |

We walked up Cornwall today, my other half informed me that there were 4 piles outside one house. Have noticed since we had the snow there is absolutely loads of the stuff. Amazingly, quite a lot deposited near the signs on posts. All I can say is that the owners are lazy so and sos, it really was much easier picking up off the snow. As for the canal, 2 weeks ago, I walked along from the steps to Brunthwaite Bridge then round Hainsworth with a large carrier, picking up full bags that had been thrown down. Needless to say, it was completely full. Responsible dog owners, I think not!!!! |

I've got a wheelie bin liner ready for the owner of the one on our street when I catch him! He'll be in it! |

Does anyone have a practical answer to this problem? - the people, not the dogs are the problem.
The technological solution is to register all dogs including a submission of the dogs DNA. The registration fee would cover all the cost. Find a pile of sh---t, send it off to the dog police and so long as it is registered then owner is dealt with.

No real answers, we'll still be complaining of this in twenty years on here!
Just gotta put the posters up, and give the offending owners as much grief as possible.
If you want a poster e-mailing let me know - alan@silsden.net |

one solution is for everybody to either carry a mobile phone with a built in camera on it or a disposible camera, then when you see the dog doing it and you sense the owner not going to pick it up,because believe me,you can tell if somebody is going to pick it up or not by there body movement, anyway, when you have taken the photo take it down to the keighley news centre in keighley, they will then print it in the paper then[wont be page 3 though] |

This is exactly why I won't have a dog, I'm too lazy to pick up their 'business'. I do love dogs but I don't love their poo so I stick to patting other people's dogs. |

Tons of 'stuff' near Hothfield Street School, someone had chalked around it 'watch where you walk' A chap was telling me that he sees a couple with four large dogs, another couple with two large dogs , and a chap with one large dog and he has never seen any of them with a bag , never mind taking there bags home. When challenged one party replied'well it washes away!' He was remind that it is an offence to foul footpaths and verges. Why has not every dog owner to have a licence hefty fee and why are these 'laws' not implimented? too much legisaltion and no action. I won't start the debate about using hand helds mobile phones in moving vehicles! I went to a funeral last week and two mobiles phones went off during the sevice also during a lecture I attended. Are these people so indispensible they have to be in touch every minute? Why don't they put some adventure into their mundanr lives and be out of touch for a time? I overgeard a Medical Consultant say 'Oh she's a Lady you would never catch her using a mobile phone in public inflicting everyone with her conversations'. Why do mobile phone users always shout ? |
