IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

Had a great meal at The River Spice a couple of nights ago. It cost about £18 for three people (there was enough for four!). It was all really good but the bhindi gosht was exceptional.

Must be personal taste...we have lots of visitors, including some from abroad, and they all say Lazeez is one of the best they have ever had. Personally I'll be sad to see them go.

They scored three stars out of five - the same as Stephanos and crazy chef, the kings arms and Georges place. (3 stars is a rating of good)

According to the guys that own it they had the chance to move to Keighley on same outgoings as Silsden but to a lot bigger restaurant with more opportunity to expand the business. Their last day is this Sunday and they are officially opening at the old Balti House on Russell Street on September 15th. Lazeez will be taken over by another owner to continue as a curry house.
