I see the balls on the river bridge have been painted today. Alas not the blue ones just past the Sports Club. I wonder if they will get done before the bike race thingy comes through. |

Painting yellow today what a waste of money , the money could be spent cleaning the drain or fixing pot hole in the road. |

"the money could be spent cleaning the drains or fixing pot holes in the road" Couldn't be done. Knowing local government, the money will come from different budgets. You are talking drainage and roads, we are talking balls. |

Roared laughing when I turned off the roundabout yesterday - absolutely brilliant! They could have just been touched up in the old colours - who is the rebel at Bradford Highways who had the balls to do this! |

Received from Debs Bacon Messages: Well done LTDF team for arranging for the concrete ball bollards near Belton Rd to finally be painted....these have always made the entry into Silsden look tatty and run down. The fresh paint has made the world of difference and although obviously Le Tour inspired the colours are bright, cheerful and tasteful. I hope they remain after the bikes are long gone. thanks!
