Vacancy - Part-Time Mortgage Admin A vacancy has arisen within our Firm for a part-time mortgage administrator. The post is initially temporary to cover maternity absence however there is a possibility that this may eventually become a full-time permanent position. Applicants must have at least 2 years experience in the administration of mortgage cases for an Independent Mortgage Broker and have a good understanding of the mortgage market and mortgage application processing. Experience in supporting Independent Financial Advisers with life and pension processing would also be useful. The successful candidate will be required to submit online mortgage and protection proposals with minimal supervision and therefore good IT skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills as the role involves regular contact with mortgage providers, clients and other mortgage intermediaries. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise are also vital to the role. A relevant qualification such as CeMAP or equivalent would be beneficial but not essential.
