At the recent business meeting Cllr Mallinson said he had been in recent talks with developers regarding the proposed bypass/massive housing scheme for Silsden.
This could all be affected by this

Tories against house building - pull the other one.
This is just a cheap exercise in touting for votes.

More housing is needed - if it is not going to be built on 'green belt' land, then where?

Suggestions - new towns? Hellifield would make an ideal base for a new Milton Keynes. Good rail access, easy enough to build in a motorway spur.
