This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

The best way to go is by train - unfortunately it is not the cheap option. Otherwise why not go on the bike. Managed it in the past on my MZ150 so I reckon it should be easy on a modern two wheeled car type.
Last time I went it was a pretty awful affair. More like a market with bikes on show and lots of people.
Ride from Silsden to Leeds via Shipley and it is now possible to see most new bikes on sale.
Personally I think the preference for two wheeled cars will do motor biking no good.

Two wheeled car?

www.triumph.co.uk/uk/2009%20Triumph%20Rocket%20III_Specifications.aspx

Practical cars start at 1000cc, so any vehicle with a motor bigger than 1000cc I consider a two wheeled car.

Of course cars can run quite happily with motors of 425cc - as I know from experience. It was a four door estate by the way.
