good day yesterday met loads of friendly bikers who were in town for the Sewer rats do, it is a pleasure to have them here every year and long may it continue  loved the guy with the Adolf Hitler tattoo it was amazing |

I was up at the Sewer Rats Rally this weekend and for once I find myself agreeing with Boghoss.It was a brilliant weekend and the local buisnesses should have been given a much needed boost.Well done to all involved in the organising of this event. |

I agree. I walked down through town on Saturday afternoon and there was a large group of bikers congregated on the path having a drink or three. None of them were causing any bother at all, apart from perhaps looking a bit scary to the ill- informed. I stopped to have a chat with some of them, and it sounds like they were having a great weekend. Its about time bikers (and I am one myself) shook off the bad image people have of them, most of them are just ordinary decent people who happen to like bikes and the associated lifestyle. Phil |

I saw the bikers on Saturday. Very nice fellas and their Molls but do they have to have such noisy exhausts on their bikes. Do they take all the innards out to make them that loud. I'm sure they must be illegal decibel wise. !! |

again standard blog on this forum bit of praise for the bikers then a big moan about the noise from there bikes? they were drinking on the streets, they were enjoying Silsen they were spending money in the shops and pubs there was no trouble at all but there bikes were loud god you really are a sad person can not wait till the road works start it would be great if they dug up some of the dropped down kerbs you lot would have a field day |

They didn't cause any problems, enjoyed themselves and only do it once a year not like the middle-class, Mondeo driving, half wits who set fireworks off and wake half of Silsden up to celebrate their rabbits birthday or summat! |
