this post has been edited 1 time(s) Jenny & Stuart teach regular 8-week courses in Lindy Hop (aka Jitterbug) at Sunnybank Social Club in Silsden on Tuesdays. 8pm Beginners, 9pm Intermediates. A NEW COURSE WILL BE STARTING ON TUESDAY 8TH JANUARY. Lindy Hop is a partner dance & really cool form of jive which developed in Harlem in the 30’s/40’s and was the forerunner of all other forms of jive. It’s still very popular today & is danced socially worldwide, attracting a wide variety of age groups. The classes are suitable for everyone, including beginners. We make it as easy as possible and build your skills up very gradually. It does help if you have a partner but it’s not essential.
