just want to record , a big well done to chris in the election... just goes to show if the guy or lady is reight,,straight,,and stands by there beleifs and for silsden,,theyll win through..... you fought the party machine,and the silsdeners back ya,,cos they know ya and respect ya,,, well done again! |

what a great shame the Keighley News as demoted Chris to only being the Town Council Chairman; instead of out Mayor which really is! |

I believe it's because the second seat on the council was because the councillor who died only had one year to do before re-election. If Chris had gained more votes than Mallinson then it would be him who would have only one year before needing re-election. |
