We have had an induction hob fitted but not sure if it is working as we think we have to use copper bottom pans ? Has anyone got an old one we can have to test it with please ? Many thanks |

Copper based pans will not work on induction hobs. They should be stainless steel, but some of these have a copper core. The sure way to test if a pan is suitable is to see if a magnet will stick to the bottom of the pan. Try a fridge magnet. |

They’re aga pans we inherited, just had a looksee and the copper bottom covers 70% from the centre, the rest (outer ring) being stainless |
