just like to say whilst listening to all moaning about gas works,i live on Oak View and these lads couldn`t have worked harder!They didn`t finish until 9.45pm last night,and no we didn`t have any gas,but hey thats what the chippy is for!Make em a cuppa,they are doing their best.

Got to second that, These fellas were exceptionally polite and never stopped, almost like robots. Strangely enough I never saw them eat either, I wonder......

peasey and broader were are you todayshocked 8O none of your hard workers in oak view or any streets near angrydont praise the buggers for doing their jobs as this is what happensangry also i dissagree about the hard work, they always seem to be drinking tea when i see themangry they should get double the work force and get the works done and then sod of somewere else as silsden has had enough of these works and united utillitiesrazz :prazz :prazz :p

There were quite a few of them on Howden Road a couple of hours ago, including the Gas Liason Officer or whatever he's called. They looked very busy talking and eating and leaning on stuff.

Weren't any around 13:00. Woundering if they are just drawing the works out until they have to finish!
It's good to know it is UU's priority to disrupt residents up until the date they have to finish!

so much for praising the gas workers Peasy,they havnt been around since,the road between Bolton rd/Oak view still full of holes same for back Cragg view /Bolton road.The entrance to Banklands still dug up causing problems turning into the road.Where are you UU?????
