I'm sure I can take it to the tip or give it away to a good cause rather than accept £10.
When it was new it cost £500 and there is nothing wrong with it if it is run at 1600 x 1200 pix |

£500 is what you were willing to pay...not what its worth....you say its perfect if you run on a lower res thats the same as selling a car and saying its perfect as long as you only use the first 3 gears...and as for taking it to the tip thats just sad... or giving it to a good cause...give it to me,the good cause is my kids that cant use the computer properly because our screen is nearly nackered...but suit your self... |

I'm fed up with people wanting something for nothing. It is worth £30, you either want it or you don't. If you don't want to pay the money that's fine by me. |

first off the difference between £10 and £30 is £20...so i move to the top of the class.. and as for being spiteful that was my point,he was going to take it to the tip rather than sell me it...and if its really that good pumbajunior you buy it.... |

dont need one i have a perfectly functioning 17inch tft thank you very much im also good enough in maths to realise £30 is 3 times more than £10 what i was meaning was if you want it why pee peter off by offering £10 when £30 is much cheaper than you could buy anything as good as his monitor |

because when must people advertise items for sale there is usually room for movement on price..he advertises for £30 i offer £10 he says no i will take £20 i say ok job done...im not on here to piss people off....and if someone trying to get something a bit cheaper annoys peter then dont sell second hand items.... |

Thanks GG but I have several vacs already (and one which actually works).
BMWR1100SS - where in my advert does it invite offers? Perhaps the suggestion of taking it to the tip was a bit rash but I will not sell it for £10 and I don't have to.
I would rather give it away BUT I would like £30 for it. It is a very good monitor which still works well. As far as the resolution is concerned, I used it at a resolution at which most people could not read the text, and it would go higher. At the maximum resolution (2200 x 1600, or some such resolution) the refesh rate is low and the screen flickers which makes it unusable at that resolution but it works!
If it's set to 1600 x 1200 the picture is great and I think this is actually the recommended setting. |

Monitor is great. Best at 1240 x 1080 on my set up, NVidia card recognised monitor. Definitely better than previous model. Thanks Peter for a great deal. All the best. |
