Keighley now has some 24, yes 24, CCTV cameras all paid for and monitored by Bradford using OUR council tax. Keighley also has a population of approximately 70,000. To my simple reckoning that's about 1 camera to three thousand population. Silsden has a population of just short of 9,000. So how many cameras should we have if there was any justice. Answer THREE! How many have we got, easy ZERO! If we want any we have to pay for them. Good here innit! |

And two cameras (by Bradford) in the Balti House car park in Keighley! Obviously this car park is far more important than residents in the centre of Silsden! |
