coby1, you will be able to remember the appostolics tabbernacle up foster ave wont you? also the moor chapel and the chapel over the canal bridge were scanthor is now? i cant as i am nobut a puphappy :)

coby1 the one over the bridge were scanthor is ,is 3 propertys down from sykes lane/kly rd junction on the rightsad :( shame on yourazz :p as for the mill?

The book "Discovering Silsden" has several references to old churches in the village, plus pics.
Still on sale at the post office and newsagents.

the RC church used to be between Mill Banks and Albert Square, there the void us now, it was in an upper room (appropriate what) my Great Grandmother used to supply their 'Holy Water' as they were not on the town supply, apperently they once borrowed her glass fruit bowl to was the feet of the Bishop.
