This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

Having just come back from Silsden park I am absalutly amazed at the stupidity of the driver of the small dark blue Citreon(I think)car taking a short cut home through the park.he drove in off Banklands, across the top of the football pitch and down towards the garage through a footpath.Children were playing unaware they needed to look out for cars.I assume the numpty lives in Howden road area and is pleased to find a way through the roadworks.Be warned you idiot,if I see you do this again I will photograph you and hand it over to the police.

Was it really a Citroen?

Could that car have been dark green?

A couple of bits of the number would help.

Parks are supposed to be safe for everyone, not racetracks.

These idiots seem to think that 'Parks' are short for - 'Car Parks'.

They only think of themselves.

It's todays low life society to blame you know.

Parks are council property they are covered by council bylaws, one of which states vehicles are not allowed unless authourised by the council.

this post has been edited 1 time(s)

Cars parked on the road:

1: obstruct the passage of other vehicles
2: provide a viewing hazard for pedestrians trying to cross the road.

Roads are for travelling on NOT PARKING ON happy :)
