Global warming is the most likely reasons. As no one is willing to sacrifice anything to reduce the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere then we are going to have to learn to live with a wetter climate. Of course; the gulf stream shifts and we then get colder winters. Of course if you reckon that global warming is a myth then no problem. It will be better next year. |

Peter, before I continue, this is not spam, nor is it political, it is a relevant response to a post and is local because it will affect the children and is affecting the children of the local population. It affects everybody, but it is the children who will have to live in the world they are changing. This is serious. Our recent prolonged period of rain was caused by the jet stream being stationary in the wrong place. This summer it was much further south than usual.”There are various theories as to why our summers have been so wet, and why the jet stream has been further south than normal.” ( Paul Hudson, the weatherman on Look North.) “So far this year it has been to the south of the UK, guiding those systems straight to us. This is the position we’d normally expect the jet stream to be in during winter, when we are more accustomed to these wet conditions.” Source, Met Office News. There are two main scientific climate projects of which we should be aware and worry. If you have children, it would be good if they were to receive the following information, as it is their world they are messing with. When man messes with nature, it usually has detrimental effects on the environment. The two main projects are:- ( 1) H.A.A.R.P. (2) Geoengineering , They say that it is to combat global warming. The aim is to control the weather of the world by 2025, to combat climate change and it is also has a military aspect which I am not going into here. ( see csat.au.af.mil/2025/volume3/vol3ch15.pdf which is a USA document ) ( and also a UN document on climate change and weather manipulation. Ref later in this post.)and the two above are used. H.A.A.R.P. (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) "HAARP is a large 180 antennae grid that projects powerful electromagnetic pulses to heat a specific point in the earth's ionosphere. This has the effect of creating electromagnetic frequencies that can be bounced back to earth at desired locations, causing major disruption to weather and geophysical elements, even deep underground [4, 5]. At 2:18 a Scientist explains how it could indirectly shift the Jet Stream and we all know that our weather is determined by the jet stream. Aim, to control the climate. This happens periodically, over Britain, Europe , USA and probably the world. The trail left, are called chemtrails. Spraying of aluminium particles in the atmosphere and other chemicals such as, aluminium, ( damaging to brain function and can cause senile dementia,) barium, ( as toxic as arsenic) nano-aluminium coated fibreglass (known as CHAFF), radioactive thorium, cadmium, chromium, nickel, dessicated blood, mould spores, yellow fungal mycotoxins, ethylene dibromide and polymer fibres. I am not proporting that HAARP and Geoengineering are definitely responsible but could be. More importantly everybody should know what they are doing. Will look at sudden stratopheric warming. |

Errrm, I'll bite. I assume Window is either Trolling (all be it on a pseudo intellectual level) or is a crackpot conspiracy theorist who believes anything he/she reads on the internet. Posting references to lots of youtube/daily telegraph and non recognised quasi scientific sites DOES NOT strengthen a point, in fact, to those of us who can critique an article, it weakens your point. So be warned folks, just because Window has post links and copious volumes of text, does not make his/her point correct! |

To Gazzer, Yes I agree, SS Warming has a cycle. This years stagnant jet stream was so pronounced that it could,( "could", not "has",) also have been affected by the heat from HAARP plus extra warming from the lack of Arctic ice. To steetonblue: - I am not trolling. My post is not on a pseudo intellectual level as I have researched the information not just on the internet. Those references posted were the most easily accessible to the reader of the post. I am not a crackpot conspiracy theorist. This is a derogatory term used to denigrate those of the opposing accepted view. I do not believe everything I read on the internet. You are immediately dismissing an opposing view to the accepted one. The accepted view comes from the sources of public information which are usually the news media, a news media which is selective in its output, and ignores much that is controversial. Do you believe the accepted view? Do you believe everything you hear and see on the public media? The media never exposed the Magdelene Laundry scandal, only when it ended in 1996. The media never exposed the Government’s plan of the shipping of children many of whom were told that their parents were dead, to Australia and the colonies till it was exposed in 1987 by Margaret Humpries, a social worker.The media never fully exposed the fact that the Slovakian Government had threatened to take the UK Government to the Court of Human Rights over British Social workers taking Slovakian children in Britain to be adopted for no apparent reason. ( Just one report in two newspapers.) The Internet sites which are against HAARP and Geoengineering and what they are doing to the atmosphere, fall into three categories; (a) the serious opposition composed of worried and concerned people, with no political agenda, or ulterior motive but who want to inform the public (my position.)(b)weird fanatical ones and ( C) the extreme right or left sites. These last two seriously undermine, invalidate and weaken the argument for the opposing view for they instil in the public, the idea that all those with the opposing view are like those in category b and c. Presenting genuine evidence strengthens a point not weakens it. The sites are not “ Quasi scientific sites.” The Oxford Geoengineering Programme exists and I think that the directors, Professor Richard Darton, Professor Gideon Henderson, Professor Steve Raynor and Professor Julian Savulescu would be rather insulted if they heard their website being having described as “quasi scientific.” "Weather as a Force Multiplier:Owning the Weather in 2025" is a genuine document. Its because were English Proof New Zealand hasn't had any rain for 2 years , Englishmen turn up for a game of cricket = downpour for 2 days !!!!
