I spotted a rather large American Signal Crayfish in the beck today about 100yds upstream from Clog bridge. That's bad news for other life in the beck. They have the ability of undermining the riverbank too.

yep informing the enviro agency is about all you're allowed to do. even though they're a known invader you're not allowed to remove them

river aire and canal is full of them,they carry a parasite that kills the native white clawed crayfishsad :(

Have you notified Environmental Health Mickeyfinn ?

If someone feels this is useful to do please could they do it. Much appreciated.

Busy with Planning Permission 13/03292/FUL. I am given to understand this is for heavy engineering resulting in excessive noise for many residents , no restrictions to day and night use. Environmental Health are not supporting the application.

Let's try to do our best for Silsden.
