Please be aware, car clampers are operating in several sites in Keighley, Two exist on East Parad. if you travel into Keighley past Asda and the station, go through the lights and on your left there is a car wash and valet st back a little with space to park in front. Further up on the right, opposite EMU furniture store, in the car park of, what used to be Motosave. I have also been told there is another somewhere on Cavendish St. There are warning signs in blue on a white background measuring 21.5 inch sq or 55cm sq and unless you are looking for them you won`t see em. They The clampers wait until you have dissapeared from view and immediately clamp your car and charge a 115.00 pound clamp removal fee. The police cannot interfere except to arrest you in the event of verbal or physical abuse, rascist abuse or damage to the clamp as what the clampers are doing in within the law??????? So have a Happy Christmas and park in designated parking bays/areas stay well clear of anything else as the clampers are keen as mustard or if you get caught you can get some small satisfaction and pay them in 5p coins, the bank`s are glad to help if you tell them what it`s for, it took him 2.5 hours to count it, the down side is you have to wait as well but it was worth every minute. Don`t do as I did and take a sledgehammer to the padlock, the law arrived in 4 minutes and it cost me another 30 quid and a get out of jail free card. Am thinking that was worth it too |
