Topic : Bitten by dog should I report? |

Today my partner and myself were walking our dogs on lead in Silsden when an off lead Labrador attacked our dogs and in the process bit me on the leg which is now swelling and is painful, has this dog got history? And should I report to police ? |

She was but she couldn't control it,I thought labs were ok...think again |

I would report it too,watch the bite as they can become infected quickly too. |

Sorry to hear about you being bitten, is it possible you could give us more information, like the time,location,description of the dog & owner. |

firstly - if the skin on your leg is broken - go to a minor injuries/out of hours gp - especially if you have not had a tetanus booster in the last 5 years secondly, report it, bad owners are a menace and it could be a child next time! |

Come on Frank something's not quite right here, your reluctance to give us any information regarding time, place, description could suggest you are not telling us the whole truth, or at least giving the other party a chance to give their side of the incident. Could it be while you were walking your two German Shepherds the Labrador came too close, your dogs reacted and attacked the Labrador, now in your efforts to separate the animals you were bitten. odds on it was probably one of your own dogs. Come back. |
