Bradford's Labour group have elected Susan Hinchcliffe to replace Dave Green as Leader of Bradford Council. Cllr Hincliffe is best known for being in charge of Bradfords failing schools. www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/14481178.Bradford_Council_gets_new_leader/#comments-anchor |

Have you heard anything about Brad Met wanting the land to the side of spring bank nursing home/ Howden road Cemetery for building? I thought it was allocated for the expansion of the cemetery bought in the 1920s. or could it be connected to the Spring bank care home extension. |

Off topic but could it be something to do with this planning application? 16/02506/FUL |

The cemetery was dedicated in 1930 and in 2008 Bradford Council estimated that it would become full inside 9 years(2017). I may have heard the land is too rocky for future expansion which raises the question do Bradford have a plan for a new cemetery? |

Not off topic at all, surely the head of Bradford council whose job encompasses all that matters to a rate payer, can be included in the topic. (true) |
