just get on with it, any one in the way just bulldoze over them  these are not real gypsies they are srcounging benifit fiddling irish tinkers who contribute nothing to our society and all the do gooders that are there why are they not at work  tell you why because they are either little rich kids or scroungers as well just out to cause troube and before any one gets on my case would you like this rabble next to your house in silsden if it happened here this site would go into melt down  |

hmmm, on the one hand I kind of agree with localman (yikes!) these aren't "travelers" they aren't traveling anywhere. They have broken planning law (something localman isn't bothered about normally - dig) and the council has done everything above board and legally to remove them. I even heard some of them have normal houses back in Ireland that they choose not to live in and they've refused the councils offer of re-housing in proper houses. So I don't have a lot of sympathy with them. But then the council has spent so much money getting rid of them it's ridiculous and if it was a scrap-yard before then it was hardly green-belt land was it? So how much harm are they doing? But then again I don't think we can just make an exception and allow them to stay and flout the law. Really struggling with this one but I think I come down on the side of the council, the travelers must go. |

Sky News survey of the public said that over 90% of people replied that the travellers should be evicted. They seem to think that the law of the land does not apply to them, move them on. |

Get em off the land, the scroung of the system and then break every law.... These people think they are above the law........ I'm not against gypsys... Most are good.... It's just the few that make it worse for the rest. Always the case.... Anyhow defo out on the road where they belong..... |

It was blatantly obvious that the "residents" of Dale Farm would kick off sooner or later. How many of them where in Great Britain legally, where wanted by the police? Many of these sites are known to harbour criminal elements. As such they should be evicted as soon as they appear, not one or two months or years after the even |
