Hi greengrass. I have just been on the Argos website to check out the price of the said dishwasher It's a Beko 5411 @ £200. I don't think £80 is unreasonable? |

Take a look at my addvert you will see what i do for a living i repair domestic appliances beco are not very good if it was hotpoint maybe you would have sold it by now and as you have not sold it yet proves my point |

dogcatcher..........Thanks for your support and don't worry this machine isn't leaving here till I have the maltesers in my hand.  greengrass.....dogcatcher will back me up when I say the dishwasher was well buried at the back of the garage, jammed in by a load of other stuff. Anyway we got it out but to late for collection tonight. give me a buzz tomorrow about half hour before you are coming. Thanks. |

Congratulations both on this sharp and witty battle (with help from the doggy one) It was better than the tennis. I thought the big cactus moment might just be too much but no - returned straight down the line. Pow! Sorry it's over. Got anything else in the back of the garage? |

this post has been edited 1 time(s) Well paperclip........I opened the front door this morning to find 2 sunflower plants sitting on the doorstep and a rather unsavoury looking character stood about 6 feet away from the door. I was about to tell him that I didn't have any scrap when I realised it must be greengrass At this time there was noooo sign of the bag of maltesers. Anyway we loaded the dishwasher into his van and just as I was about to throw myself onto the road in front of his van [cos he definately strikes me as the type who would jump back into his van and do a runner ] he said 'better get your maltesers hadn't I?' He then reached into the van and took out the warmest bag of maltesers I have ever seen. I wish I had asked for the cactus cos I would definately have found a good home for it. Needless to say I wasn't impressed. Conversation then turned to the rest of the contents of the garage. I have a brand new multi fuel range cooker in there [ which I will advertise at a later date]. When I told greengrass how much it cost and that I wouldn't be giving it away he replied....that's the trouble these days everyone wants something for nothing!!!!!.........How rich is that???On a more serious note greengrass it was quite pleasant doing business with you and I'm sure your dishwasher will give you many years of good service even if it is Turkish!! On the other hand it wouldn't surprise me one bit if we didn't soon see an advert on here for a BRAND NEW BECO DISWASHER STILL IN THE WRAPPING £100. |
