Does anyone know where the big gateway would have led to on Keighley road ? Its before you get to Belton road on the way out of Silsden. There are two large gateposts and a bridge over the beck |

poss was for a big house sometime but cant remember in my time,but the fairground used to be in there years ago and all their wagons used to go over it so must av been built to carry weight  |

As I remember it they were a gift from the farmer, Mr Fielden, along with the bridge to allow the gala access. Anyone know better? |
