This website and forum has been living on borrowed web server time for years. At the end of this month silsden.net in it's present form will cease to exist, BUT there is a new silsden.net in the making, and a new forum, and lots of exciting new things coming to this space. Peter

Do believe all the 'Co-Operative Prices' stuff. Other supermarkets tend to load a few essentials so the rest look good, never noticed that at Co-Operative. Also packaging sizes are not actually consistent.
There is also the question of 'price' and 'value' and I reckon the co-Operative is good value.

The Co-op have been doing home delivery for years - Settle Co-op have had them for at least 10 years or more happy :)

If (as said in the press) people complain about the stuff other supermarkets send out - i.e. near sell by date etc. Then at least you can go and choose your own stuff and then have it delivered later.

i had a delivery from Sainsbury at 9 pm - they delivered 3 items that expired that day! How was i supposed to use them all THAT DAY!!! Never used them since - had better luck with Asda but still felt that they weren't picking the items with longer expiry dates - would be interesting to see how co op operate
