went to look at all the bikes and scooters taking part in todays charity event setting off from sutton what a great turn out, never seen as many scooters for years |

I meant to go and have look at this, but forgot as I was absorbed in listening to the TT commentary on Manx radio. There's another chance to get a look at some nice old bikes at Steeton Hall next Sunday when the local Girder Fork classic bike club have their annual do. Well worth a visit, and all proceeds to the Air Ambulance |

this post has been edited 2 time(s) yes went on the run through silsden skipton and back to sutton a great turn out poss around 200 bikes and scooters and 3 bands on in the afternoon at the bay horse and another at night at the black bull,not as many there from silsden than i thought there would be  they had posters up in silsden pubs. |

I don't think it was publicised very much, I just happened to read a very small piece in the T&A did not see any other adverts for it.What bands were on, we could not stay, just saw them gathering and setting off. |

I only found out as they were riding past my house. I was indoors watching MotoGP and heard them so wwas watching them from my front window. Was really good to see so many really made my day seeing them all |

I saw banners on the Keighley end of the bypass and on the bottom of Halifax Rd it was advertised as Parkas n Leathers,and a seperate advert on facebook from the groups playing. I saw quiet a few Cobbydalers scattered around |

you tube vid here of the whole run coming out of the end of Sutton lane - 204 bikes & scooters. Took us an hour to do the round trip with marshals stopping the traffic at junctions to allow us to pass. There were definitely a good handful of silsdeners there on bikes & scoots - 5 of us on scoots set off from Hothfield street about 12 o'clock www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KSGe-x91yE&feature=share |
