The footpath off cornwall ave I found however there were cows, Im afraid of being trampled to death! Does anyone know if those cows are there all the time or should I check back another day?

Would imagine they are out for the summer now. I went across earlier in the week, they were out for the first time. Although a bit worried, they were an absolute joy to see. They were running, mooing, sliding and just generally happy with their lot.
Most seem to be taken in at night, but still a few in the fields.

cows will be put into different fields,they wont be in one field all the time

I believe current advice is to let your dog OFF the lead IF cattle threaten. (only if cattle threaten).

for gods sake cows live in fields not humans? walk round them they only attact if they have calfs are you people from down south?

The woman vet who died was from Warrington...is that in the South? Not when I was last there a few months ago.

what did I say they only attact if they have calfs she had two dogs with her and the cows had calfs a vet should never have taken dogs into a field full of cows with calfs I am not a vet but a yorkshire man who is aware of what cows can do if they get upset its there basic animal nature to protect there calfs from dogs remember a cow does not see a pet dog it sees a wolf.shocked 8Oshocked 8Oshocked 8O

Thanks for the replies. Yeah Im not going. I don't have a dog but still they have charged at people with no dog so Ill just for go that foot path for now, maybe try again when I am here next year.
