Peter, you closed the thread before we got a chance to arrange a bike event! I think it would be a good idea to get a lot of bikes together, how about on one of the Ryefield Way car parks, maybe on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, make a collection from anybody who comes along and put the proceeds into the gala commitee funds. If it took off we could maybe make it a regular event, get burger, and icecream vans. |

Sorry I will not be able to ride with my broken collar bone.
All the best to you all though.
The bike that cut me up was a Harley. |

Is there any financial assistance for continental riders who turn up? |

first of all I only made the suggestion I didn't say I was going to arrange it. secondly, you must have been going very very slowly to be cut up by a Harley! |

I had just set off again after stopping in Gargrave for a tommy tinkle.
With the girfriend on the back ( Don't need L plates ) the 125 engine always starts slowly. She weighs 14 stone.
The Harley rider cut right accross me to turn left over the bridge - despicable person. |

Riding out of Grassington yesterday and caught the cows going for milking. So stopped motor and waited. I know where my breakfast milk comes from.
Along comes a wally on a shiniy imitation HD, you know the sort, Japanese reliability with US looks. Does he wait. No, just weaves his way through the cows!! Lucky for him they were a docile bunch ready to be milked. |

Hi There My Dad has a burger van. He does a 'healthier option' menu if required including paninis etc. Please drop me a line if you would like a look at his menu. Cheers Leanne |
