I have been given this interesting image of Bolton Road, Silsden taken when you could walk down the middle of the road:  You wouldn't want to get in the way of this family when clogs were the order of the day  Note the trees growing along the road  Henry Mitchell  Magnificent  |

hard to tell but it looks pre-bell square. any idea when bolton road was built? i know from living up there that north street used to be the main road before bolton road |
