lazeez gets my vote, always very good, and our visitors reckon it's better than where they come from. |

Posted by jacktlad (when there was a thread already going )The Lazeez has improved a lot over the last few months but it's the eat in that's best. The take away stuff just loses a bit on the journey. I know it's a bit of a trek but the best for miles has to be The Karachi on Neal Street in Bradford. Quality is just superb and the price is excellent. You can stop off and have a swift pint at The Fighting Cock on the way. One of the best beer drinking pubs in Yorkshire. It might be a long way but you can always buy extra and it freezes very well. |

karachi is 'ok' but the kashmir floats my boat, was going there when a tenner got my son and i into 'city' after a curry and starter each on a saturday afternoon. god, wish they delivered from bradford.al habib, tried them, can be iffy, lazeez too expensive. |

akbars, leeds road bradford. top munch and great value |

Balti Murgh from the Sweet Centre, Lumb Lane, re-heated when you get home. Brilliant! |
|
| bogtoss |
Lazeez good for Silsden best to sit in, Keighley tried every one nothing to write home about, Bradford well its curry heaven Sweet centre not as good as it used to be, Akbars good but you have to wait to long, still love the old rat celler (Kashmir)as soon as you sit down something will be put on the table to eat, starters and main meals follow quickly after good food and must be still the cheapest around ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The Aagrah is always good, friendly service & they'll always try to squeeze you in. the buffet at shipley is well worth a visit for the lamb raan (roast leg of lamb). |

by the way alan, the al-habib 'chicken bone' is just like a curry from the seventies/eighties. it will take you back, believe me. just a shame their pilau rice is disgusting. |
|
| alan |
Don't do rice, horrible stuff. Prefer naan........ |

balti spice! what a revelation. keema madras, chicken tika madras, five chapatis and a pilau rice ordered.came with extra 'veggie thing' (ok though)and a few popadoms and various dips and side salads.taste factor excellent. back to my friday night routine, thank cod! |

Am going to try Balti Spice on Friday. I remember getting a takeaway from the previous occupants of that takeaway, started good and ended up awful! Couple of years back now. |
|

balti spice again tonight.won't go through the goodies but suffice to say 'excellent'!!!! including an onion bhaji starter dips, salad and poppadoms? that we didn't order and didn't pay for either. tons cheaper than lazeez too. |
