lazeez gets my vote, always very good, and our visitors reckon it's better than where they come from.

Posted by jacktlad (when there was a thread already going sad :( )

The Lazeez has improved a lot over the last few months but it's the eat in that's best. The take away stuff just loses a bit on the journey.
I know it's a bit of a trek but the best for miles has to be The Karachi on Neal Street in Bradford. Quality is just superb and the price is excellent. You can stop off and have a swift pint at The Fighting Cock on the way. One of the best beer drinking pubs in Yorkshire.
It might be a long way but you can always buy extra and it freezes very well.

Lazeez good for Silsden best to sit in, Keighley tried every one nothing to write home about, Bradford well its curry heaven Sweet centre not as good as it used to be, Akbars good but you have to wait to long, still love the old rat celler (Kashmir)as soon as you sit down something will be put on the table to eat, starters and main meals follow quickly after good food and must be still the cheapest around wink ;)wink ;)wink ;)wink ;)happy :)

The Aagrah is always good, friendly service & they'll always try to squeeze you in. the buffet at shipley is well worth a visit for the lamb raan (roast leg of lamb).

by the way alan, the al-habib 'chicken bone' is just like a curry from the seventies/eighties. it will take you back, believe me. just a shame their pilau rice is disgusting.

Am going to try Balti Spice on Friday.

I remember getting a takeaway from the previous occupants of that takeaway, started good and ended up awful! Couple of years back now.
