Just another reminder of this years bonfire on the Green,2nd November. Fire lit at 6pm with fire work displays about 6.30 and 7 15pm. Entry to bonfire is still only £1 so come along with the family and enjoy the night. |

Get yourself down to the bonfire. The fire is lit, it's warm and dry. Next lot of firework at 7.15pm don't miss them. |

Went down Peter. Saw the first lot of fireworks but then it poured down and the kids got a bit tired so didn't stay for the second lot. Good value for money though, we all enjoyed it and it was good to see quite a few people made it. The gate staff were really friendly and a good laugh. I think we have some excellent events in Silsden and it's good to see a turnout even in the rain. |

rain rain and more rain   wind and $iss then fireworks 1st display brilliant. 2nd display absolutely awesome I bet you can not get that any where in this country for £1 good to see s0 many mums n dads with the kids.dont forget the Christmas market on sunday 24th nov ,lots of stalls and santa |

We went down with our two littluns last night for the first lot of fireworks. Perfect timing as we missed the rain! We also really liked the set up this year with no fairground rides. Without them we felt that it had a proper village/small town atmosphere. Thank you Silsden Gala committee! More of the same next year please |

Well done guys - great bonfire (oops about the fire work that went astray on to the car). Shame about the weather - but then there's nowt ya can do about that!!!! |

Thank you to everyone who braved the terrible weather last night and supported Silsden Gala Committees bonfire. It was wet,it was cold,it was windy but it seemed many people had a good night. A huge thank you to one of our greatest supporters,MARY FRYERS,who turns up to help us at all our evevnts and last night got absolutely soaked to the skin but was still smilling on the gate. THANK YOU!!! |
