It seems to me at the moment that everyone I know must tell everyone they know to ask me to fix their borked PCs and I'm geting a bit hacked off with it. angry How do PC World stay in business when I'm fixing every b*ggers PCs? angry

What do you do when your PC is up the spout?

(hint: the answer is not calling me!!) wink ;)

I ask my son, he's at uni doing software summat and makes me seem like a two year old with computers.

Technology passed my capabilities years ago!

Alan, I clearly need to get my son trained up, that the answer happy :)

Trouble is he's more interested in playing games...

I was at my brother-in-laws 'til 11pm last night fixing his virus ridden computer. angry

I think I need to learn to say "NOOOOOOO!!" a bit more.

I call these guys, pretty damn cheap and know what there doing. Had my computer back to me in a few hours.

They gave me a third hour free and threw in a computer detox which got rid of my pop-ups.

He's doing software development, but there are lots of well-attended courses for those who wanna just design games etc.

Ha, CPYou (CPU), I geddit, took me a minute though. They really are local aren't they. No prices on their website though so I might just give them a call. I can't cope with anymore of these late-night (ok not so late) bug busting capers (now I do sound like ghostbusters wink ;) )
