We have had a racing pigeon in the garden for the last 4/5 days. Ringed on both legs but can't get close enough for more detail. It's eating and drinking. Before going to the RSPCA anyone local who could help out? Phone 07990553098. Thanks. |

You would need to catch it and get it into a box first. Unless you can see the numbers/letters on the ring there is nothing that can be done. Sometimes they are just tired and want a rest, food and water before flying away. The ring numbers are registered against the owner with the Royal Pigeon Racing Associationa and their name is sometimes also stamped on the wings. |

saw a parrot flying round coop area of silsden on sunday looked like a cockatiel it had a long tail anyway,dont know if anyone has lost one  |

Looks like you have a little pet then....he likes it with you. ha ha. I have rescued a little sparrow today, the last two weeks I have been like RSPCA! |

We live on Howden Road and also seem to have a pet racing pigeon. Maybe it is the same one ? |

We had one on Keighley Road for a while with a bent beak. It doesn't visit so often but I still see it from time to time. |
